1. What types of music do you have available?

New rock - Old rock - 50's, 60's - New country - Old country - Pop, MOR - Adult Contemporary - Alternative - 40's Swing - Techno & Rap - Disco - Blues/Soul - Background instrumental, light vocal.

 We've recently (August 2006) added some 3000 Karaoke titles to our already extensive music library.

2. Do you have a list of your music?

Our music library contains just over 11,000 regular, and 3000+ Karaoke listings, and is growing daily. We employ a lap-top computer to ensure our listings are up-to-date, and to provide us with near-instant access to requests. 

3. Do you play requests?

Absolutely. We encourage requests from you and your guests. However, songs with "inappropriate" lyrics will not normally be accommodated.

4. Do you have specialty dances?

Cha Cha Slide - Polka - Schottise - Butterfly - Jive - Limbo - Bunny Hop - Bird Dance - Macarena - Electric Slide - Locomotion - Swing - Various Line Dances

5. Do you have ethnic / specialty music?

Irish - Italian - Mexican - Polish - Jewish - Greek - Dixieland - Latin - Reggae

6. Do you supply a microphone for the Master of Ceremonies?

We supply a high-quality wireless microphone allowing flexibility of movement.

7. What are your strong points?

  • Experience. More than twenty-five years in the entertainment field.
  • Highly personalized service. 
  • Ability to "read" the audience and determine their likes & dislikes.
  • Strong audience interaction skills including humour, games, & contests where appropriate.
  • Ability to play to all ages & musical tastes.
  • Sensitivity to manage volumes and special effects to guests' tastes.

8. What is the quality & make-up of your sound system?

Cloud Nine uses only the finest professional equipment (not home stereo)..

9. What kind of functions do you provide music for?

Weddings - Anniversaries - Birthday parties - Christmas parties - Corporate functions - Fund raisers / Charities -  Promotional Events - Sports Banquets - Car Rallies - Karaoke Parties

Any function where people want to have a great time

10. What size function can you handle?

Pretty-much any size - from less than 40 to well over 400 attendees.

11. Who will be my Disc Jockey?

The disc jockey team for your event are also the owners of the company. Your assurance of quality.

12. What is your experience?

Former network radio announcer, producer, and disc jockey - Mobile disc jockey since 1979 - entertained for well over 800 functions including 400+ wedding receptions. 

13. How do your fees compare with other Disk Jockeys?

DJ fees in the Chatham-Kent area cover a wide range, with Cloud Nine positioned just above the middle of the pack. Some are cheaper; others are much more expensive. However, we believe you will not find better value for your entertainment investment.

14. Can we submit a complete list of music for you to play?

Preferably not. Since Cloud Nine's reputation depends upon our ability to "read" and interact with the crowd, it would not normally be appropriate to use someone else's extensive play list. We would however, be more than happy to discuss specific requests and general themes prior to confirming any contract. 

15. Can we provide personal tapes and/or cds for you to play?

Because of licensing restrictions, such requests may not be possible. To avoid disappointment, this type of request should be discussed during the consultation meeting(s).

16. Are there any "hidden" charges?

NEVER! All charges are discussed in detail during our FREE consultation(s). Further, Cloud Nine will provide a written contract in which all services and fees are detailed.
